In September and October 2014, The RHS and The Wildlife Trusts challenged individuals, community groups and schools to create much-needed places in which pollinators could spend the winter. More than 100 ‘bug hotels’ were entered into a photo competition and we’re delighted to announce the winners are:
Individual winner
Wendy Field, Worcester, who wins one year’s membership to both the RHS and The Wildlife Trusts – plus TWT goody bag
Group winner
The Holly Lodge Centre, London, which wins a guided tour of RHS Garden, Wisley in Surrey, including a behind-the-scenes introduction to the work of the RHS Entomologists and the chance to explore the world-famous gardens.
School winner
Whitchurch Primary School, Bristol, which wins a wildlife gardening bundle including hedgehog
houses, bird feeders, bat boxes and much much more.
